Flight attendants are aimless?

One of my younger cousins recently said that to become a cabin crew member showed that someone was aimless in their career. I was astounded by this conclusion, spoken from the mouth of a 24 year old who seemed like he had had a lot of world experience, despite barely having started his first job.

Cabin crew members make a lot of money, possibly even more than his own chosen career as an accountant. Should being an accountant (which was his degree and what he is working as) make one fulfilled, then? It doesn’t sound very interesting or remarkable to me.

I think it’s a little sad that people have thoughts like that, I don’t think the world they live in is very interesting. I’m not a flight attendant either.
